Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist (Level 2) for our Federal Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting comprehensive PIAs, including data flow analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
  • Reviewing and updating existing privacy policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and assessing privacy risks associated with organizational projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure privacy requirements are integrated into project plans.
  • Providing expert advice on privacy issues to internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on privacy impact findings and recommendations.
  • Delivering training sessions on privacy-related topics as needed.
  • Review, analyze, and/or apply Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

• Info Source submissions to Treasury Board and its content such as Personal Information Banks (PIBs).

• Privacy Protocols / Privacy Breach Protocols.

  • Review, analyze, and/or apply Treasury Board Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

• Analyses, Develops, Reviews, Updates and/or Applies:
• Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and/or Preliminary Privacy Impacts Assessments (PPIAs) and Privacy Risks Management Plans.
