Privacy Risk Specialist
Introduction to Role:
Join our team as a Privacy Risk Specialist, a role that is pivotal in delivering a variety of services to the Global Data Privacy Office on behalf of Global Business Services. This role will allow you to shape the next chapter of our growth story, contributing to our big ambitions for the future. You will work globally and across multiple business functions, ensuring the compliant, respectful, and ethical approach to personal data processing.
Accountabilities:
As a Privacy Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for the initial triage & review of all personal data incidents, escalation of high priority/sensitive incidents to management, and end-to-end management of low & medium risk personal data breaches. Provision of support to Data Privacy leadership in managing high risk personal data breaches where required. You will also manage Data Subject Requests globally and provide support to the Privacy Office Administrator as required.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- Understanding of the GDPR and other key Data Protection regulations
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail
- Strong critical & logical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a global team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across cultures
- Strong organizational skills
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Legal degree
- IAPP certification
