The Privacy & Security Trusted Ecosystem team aims to establish and build customer trust in the privacy & security posture of our company. PSTE’s mission is to deliver excellence in operations, ensure patient-centricity, and enable high-quality decision-making
The Privacy and Security Manager will be responsible for establishing security and privacy requirements, co-creating guidelines and standards, performing privacy and security risk assessments of Diagnostics products, defining controls, and following up on remediation activities.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to support the integration of Privacy by Design into the Diagnostics products development lifecycle.
  • Supports with data protection impact assessments and privacy product assessments for products and services for the assigned Customer Areas/Lifecycle Team.
  • Assists the assigned Customer Areas/Lifecycle Teams to develop and implement standards, processes, and technical controls to uphold the data security and privacy strategy
  • Collaborates with the Legal Department and relevant Roche partners to ensure end-to-end compliance with applicable privacy and security laws.
  • Provides product privacy support for the assigned Customer Areas/Lifecycle Teams, including maintaining an up-to-date overview of the current security and privacy environment, conducting spot-checks to verify the implementation of privacy and security controls, follow-ups on the progress of remediation efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global teams to ensure that all components and services provide the needed capabilities to allow for an end-to-end privacy and security compliant product.
  • Conducts third-party/vendor risk assessments.
  • Presents complex technical or legal concepts to non-technical partners in order to promote the value proposition of integrating security.
