Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree holder or equivalent
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant banking experiences in serving high net worth individual customers in retail bank or private bank
- Preferably possess Certified Private Wealth Professional ("CPWP") qualification under Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA)
- Completion of required Regulatory Exams:
- Client Advisor Competency Standards (“CACS”) – Paper 1
- Client Advisor Competency Standards (“CACS”) – Paper 2
- Possess qualifications for relevant investment licenses registration
Responsibilities:
- Achieve the bank’s objective on private banking business target & plans.
- Proactively build and maintain business relationship with individuals who satisfy the bank’s standards of suitability and who meet the bank’s ‘Wealth Criteria’.
- Engage in networking activities with the Bank Group and other business introducers in both Hong Kong and China to enhance the customer referral effectiveness.
- Assist in educating and coaching the Bank Private Bankers about its International’s Wealth Management products and services.
- Fully understand the client’s needs and objectives, provide good services and direct them towards respective suitable products to meet their needs.
- Assist the Team Head in implementing and executing strategic plans; and actively engage in business development activities.
- Maintain a close working relationship with Products & Portfolio Specialist teams to ensure the continued viability of client objectives and to ensure coordination of a client’s overall strategies and needs.
- Manage and monitor client accounts on an ongoing basis in order to understand changing investment needs and objectives and to coordinate portfolio solutions.
- Understand the level of risk associated with all products and services and ensure that this information and any other pertinent information are appropriately disclosed to the client.
- Perform annual review of high risk / unsuitable customers timely.
- Ensure compliance with account opening requirements on CDD and KYC; and review relevant MIS reports to identify any suspicious transactions timely.
- Comply with anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
- Generate revenue from private banking products including wealth management products in order to achieve individual sales target.
- Provide quality services and professional practice to private banking clients to uphold customers’ experience and bank’s image.
- Follow regulatory requirements and internal guidelines to avoid operations risk and financial loss.
