JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef. This position requires a dedicated individual who can provide personalized meal planning, preparation, and presentation, ensuring that every dish is of the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be flexible, creative, and capable of managing the kitchen in a private setting.
Responsibilities
- Create weekly menus that take into account dietary preferences and requirements while also showcasing creativity and innovation in meal planning.
- Plan and prepare healthy and balanced meals that are delicious with good presentation.
- Shop for groceries and kitchen supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is always well stocked with fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Manage the kitchen’s day-to-day operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time and that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience working as a private chef.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating healthy, balanced, and innovative meals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently.
- Discretion and Professionalism with a commitment to confidentiality
Location: Oniru, Lekki
Salary Budget: N100,000 - N120,000 / month
