Shermco’s Locating Services group provides underground facility locating of telephone lines, electrical distribution lines, natural gas, cable television, fiber optics, traffic lights, yard lights, streetlights, and major oil and gas pipelines.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to hire a Locating Field Coordinator to oversee our Yorkton district. This is full-time and permanent position.
Job Title: Private Locating Coordinator
Job Description: Responsible for Private Locating Coordinator duties that include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate project activities to ensure projects are on schedule;
- Provide administrative and logistical support including progress tracking and documentation;
- Coordinate manpower and resources to meet project requirements;
- Prepare reports for management regarding the status of projects and ongoing work;
- Be primary point-person for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time , within budget, and in accordance with project requirements;
- Coordinate ongoing activities of project team as required to ensure safety, productivity, client satisfaction and project results all meet exceptional standards of quality;
- Conduct and participate in meeting regarding project status, deliverable and any issues that may arise;
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient and cost effective manner, ensuring all project objectives are met;
- Act as primary client contact as required;
- Perform locates as required;
- Travel throughout Saskatchewan on various projects as required;
- Be available for afterhours call out work as required;
- Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies;
- Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
