Private Patient Coordinator
Location: Springfield, Chelmsford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Springfield Hospital is situated in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Chelmsford, with attractive landscaped gardens and free parking.
It is also accessible via train or bus service with Chelmsford train station being 10 minutes distance away by car and bus routes stopping directly outside of the hospital. The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, driven and dedicated individual to join the Private Patient Team at Springfield Hospital, based in Chelmsford.
This is a busy and demanding role so you will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. You will have the flexibility to respond to requests from consultants and colleagues and will be able to work under their own initiative.
Private Patient Coordinators need to be personable and confident speaking with a wide range of customers including Consultants, medical secretaries and patients with a keen sense of what good customer service entails. This role is multi-faceted and includes not only providing a gold standard of customer care to our private patient cohort but a knowledge of marketing and generation of revenue.

- Strong customer service
- Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to admission
- Sound computer skills using the MS Office
- Confident in engaging with a variety of people
- Articulate, with excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing
- The highest standard of personal presentation
- Goal focused and results driven
- Private healthcare experience desirable
