DESCRIPTION
The Bank is home to a fascinating Technology organisation, steeped in history and with a front row seat to the rise of Fintech and digitalisation of the Financial Industry. As one of the Bank’s core strengths, and with people at our centre, technology is essential to enabling its mission. Today we’re working to improve critical systems which underpin the UK economy, evolve data and analytics, reinvent our online presence, and introduce a fully digital workplace.
We take pride in our team and are an equal opportunity employer. Our colleagues’ backgrounds and experiences are as varied as the solutions they provide. Flexible working opportunities, a strong sense of community, and a collective mission to promote the good of the people of the UK, makes this a hugely rewarding place to work.
Few organisations pair 300 years of history with such a broad portfolio of change. Unlike many organisations, most of our technology solutions are developed and delivered in-house. This internal expertise allows us to understand the diverse needs of our historic institution and use modern methodologies to meet them. We are constantly evolving, just like our industry, and there’s never been a more exciting time for you to join!
