DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for PRO Specialist in Saudi Arabia. In this specific position you will develop local Key Accounts and achieve revenue and profit contribution objectives from an assigned list of Key Regular Accounts in a designated Province area within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- More than 8 years within the same field
- Excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
Develop and administer public relations plans and processes to protect and promote the reputation of the organization through communication with industry, consumers, media and general public in line with business strategy, stakeholder requirements, Group guidelines and policies
KEY TASKS
- Execute public relations plans and processes to deliver public relations projects and initiatives for the assigned business area
- Schedule, prepare and release publicity materials concerning the organization to the press and wider community
- Write and deliver, if required, speeches, articles, press releases, public statements and other external communications to ensure they are accurate and consistent with overall public relations guidelines
- Track and manage inquiries from the public or media to ensure they are responded to in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner
- Understand and analyze political processes, legislative procedures, political party and election programs impacting the organization
- Participate in preparation of opinions, recommendations, decision papers, etc. on topics relevant to the business
- Gather and share inputs on relevant topics with other specialists/ managers such as postal politics, corporate governance, taxes/ customs, consumer protection/ data protection, HR topics, etc.
- Provide expertise to other managers and executives for improved public/ media interactions
- Coordinate implementation of various communication avenues such as intranet, homepage, etc. and preparation of advertisement materials, art work, etc. to ensure consistency with public relations guidelines
- Identify, establish contact and maintain favorable relations with media contacts, political decision makers and other external audience groups
- Implement best practices and develop appropriate process and quality standards in public relations to enhance effectiveness and efficiency

- Connect with and influence other specialist departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers.
- May convince others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
- Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers
- Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees
