Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
This role will see you reporting into 2 Partners and a Special Counsel as a Probate Clerk. It is an exciting permanent opportunity to either work 5 days, 4 days or 30 hours spread over 5 days.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of Estate Litigation and Probate documents;
- Running Probate files start to finish;
- Liaising with clients, lawyers and other parties;
- Drafting documents and general correspondence;
- File management;
- Performing research;
- Diary & email management; and
- General administrative tasks.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years proven experience working in a similar role or as Legal Assistant within Wills and Estates. In addition to this you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Empathy while dealing with clients;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Motivated and take initiative; and
- Ability to work under deadlines
