Description:

Robert Half is in search of a meticulous Probate Legal Assistant to join the team of our client, located in Denver, Colorado. As a Probate/Trusts/Estates Legal Assistant, your role will be centered around managing administrative tasks, legal drafting, and maintaining proficient use of MS Office and Adobe for various operations. This opening offers a contract employment opportunity in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and mailing.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain proficiency in MS Office and Adobe for the creation, editing, and management of necessary documents.
  • Prioritize detail-oriented tasks to ensure the thoroughness and accuracy of work output.
  • Utilize case management software for efficient handling and organization of cases.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases.
  • Manage calendars effectively to ensure deadlines and appointments are met.
  • Administer probate law and probate litigation tasks.
  • Oversee probate and estate administration duties.
  • Execute e-filing and filing tasks as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role (preferably trusts, estates, and probate focused)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Familiarity with Case Management Software
  • Experience in Calendar Management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in administrative assistance
  • Experience as a Legal Assistant, particularly in the field of Probate
  • Knowledge of Probate Law, Probate Litigation, Probate & Estate Administration
  • Understanding of Trusts and Estates
  • Skilled in Drafting legal documents
  • Experience in conducting Legal Research
  • Familiarity with e-Filing and Filing systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
