We are seeking an organised and proactive Probity Officer to join our team at the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in embedding principles of equity, integrity, transparency, and accountability within the department’s activities and decision-making processes. You will build strong networks across the department and with external agencies, providing expert advice to ensure the highest standards of probity and governance are maintained.
Your key responsibilities will include providing clear advice on probity issues, developing and delivering training, monitoring compliance, and drafting reports and resources to support the department’s probity framework. Additionally, you will analyse data to identify trends, make recommendations to address systemic issues, and ensure the department adheres to the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
