Purpose
Ensure accurate budget control of the “Advertising and Promotion” investment, providing timely and accurate reports to the budget owners.
Work as a business partner of the marketing team by fully understanding business performance, with data-driven advice and mid-term forecast accuracy.
1. Business partnering to Marketing Team to support the business in achieving its strategic aims and targets.
2. Track and analyze monthly financial performance understanding main variances between rolling forecast and actual figures as well as against yearly plan and previous year.
3. Participate in the financial cycle which includes an annual operating plan, monthly projections, closing activities, and balance reviews.
4. Coordinate and consolidate the monthly forecast with all budget owners to ensure an accurate and timely report.
5. Prepare month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals calculation, and customer or brand allocations.
6. Ensure proper control and maintenance in the internal orders keeping an adequate budget assigned to each one.
7. Prepare and deliver financial reports to business partners providing high-quality information to make decisions and assure proper budget control.
8. Keep process documentation actualized and accurate.
9. Collaborate in local or global projects related to the A&P Process.
