Responsibilities:

  • Performing process engineering functions for uranium scrap recovery processes and uranium powder production processes
  • Responding to emergent needs Including equipment troubleshooting, process monitoring and creating run plans and run sheets
  • Interfacing with multiple internal organizations to repair and replace equipment
  • Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations in our Richland, WA location.
  • Creating run plans and parameter sheets for production equipment.
  • Performing equipment troubleshooting and contribute to resolving equipment issues as necessary.
  • Providing process engineering support for uranium powder production processes and equipment.
  • Providing process engineering support for several uranium scrap recovery processes.
  • Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations.
  • Providing run plans and parameters for process operations
  • Troubleshooting equipment problems
  • Interfacing with other organizations to provide support as required
  • Working with maintenance and plant engineering to repair or replace equipment
  • Providing clear instructions to Supervisors regarding production operations and requirements
