Responsibilities:
- Performing process engineering functions for uranium scrap recovery processes and uranium powder production processes
- Responding to emergent needs Including equipment troubleshooting, process monitoring and creating run plans and run sheets
- Interfacing with multiple internal organizations to repair and replace equipment
- Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations in our Richland, WA location.
- Creating run plans and parameter sheets for production equipment.
- Performing equipment troubleshooting and contribute to resolving equipment issues as necessary.
- Providing process engineering support for uranium powder production processes and equipment.
- Providing process engineering support for several uranium scrap recovery processes.
- Interfacing with several shift Supervisors and provide clear instructions in all phases of operations.
- Providing run plans and parameters for process operations
- Troubleshooting equipment problems
- Interfacing with other organizations to provide support as required
- Working with maintenance and plant engineering to repair or replace equipment
- Providing clear instructions to Supervisors regarding production operations and requirements
