What you will do
imec leads semiconductor innovation by developing and demonstrating new device concepts and production processes that meet the needs of tomorrow’s electronic devices. Process assistants play an indispensable role in this successful collaboration: from production-, to process development- and device-oriented teams.

Your responsibilities:
- You write process flows for experiments, execute on advanced processes, inspect, and perform measurements.
- You will be responsible for the planning, organizing and executing of experiments in imec’s 300mm cleanroom.
- You report your observations and findings to R&D engineers who work on the same projects as you do.
- You work with the imec hardware teams to resolve tool issues obstructing progress.
- Depending on your projects, you collaborate directly with industry partners who work in our cleanrooms daily.
- You work in shifts (early-night-late & 1 weekend out of 4) using state-of-the-art high-tech equipment.
- Based on your experience, we will train you on the job or have you coach junior colleagues.

- A bachelor in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Electromechanics, or similar industrial experience
