Description:
JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
To monitor and carry out cleaning of purification systems, filters, chemical lines and dosing plants as well as safe isolation of systems and pipelines when requested
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 combined with a NQF Level 2 or N1 in Water and Waste Water Treatment OR N3 or NQF level 4 in Water and Waste Water Treatment • 2 years process plant experience• 2 years Water Purification experience.• Class IV Process Controller Classification
KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of OHS Act and its application • Knowledge and application of ISO requirements
SKILLS
• Communication skills (Verbal and written) • Good housekeeping skills • Conflict resolution

• Desludging of sedimentation systems • Cleaning of silica plants, chemical pipe work, chemical tanks and screens. • Isolation and cleaning of process systems • Clean spreder plates and holes • General maintenance tasks.
