QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Chemical / Process / Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline, ideally with demonstrated experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Confident and capable in leading detailed technical discussions at all levels.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving and improvement tools, with a good understanding of information technology.
Responsibilities:
As a Process & Control Engineer at the Bradford, UK site, you will be a key member of the Site Engineering Team, and will:
- Manage service providers to successfully deliver small projects to site, ensuring adherence to Scope, Cost, and Time.
- Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process for engineering changes and projects.
- Ensure that design documentation related to Functional Safety, Process Engineering, Process Safety, E&I, and Automation accurately reflects the operation of the plant.
- Support Functional Safety management and compliance for the site, working towards designation as a named BASF SIS Engineer.
- Participate in Process Safety activities, including Plant Safety Concept (PSC), Implementation Check, Pressure Relief, and Explosion Protection reviews.
- Deliver Automation Operational Support and minor development changes.
- Support Automation Security management and compliance for the site, and develop to designation as Officer for Automation Security (OAS).
