ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The Company
Our client Aqwest is located in Bunbury and is going through a period of growth with a number of exciting new projects commencing. They supply water to more than 35,000 customers in the Greater Bunbury area and are committed to providing sustainable, high-quality drinking water that consistently meets or exceeds customer’s expectations.
The Role

Our client currently is looking for a Process Network Controller to support the organisation in the following functions:

• Operate and maintain water supply assets ensuring that work is performed safely, in an environmentally aware manner.
• Provide a rapid response to service emergencies and customer reported faults, including participation in an on-call roster.
• Conduct water quality sampling and analysis.
• Safely manage dangerous substances (e.g. chemicals) and materials (e.g. asbestos).
• Liaise with customers, contractors, authorities, and the public.
• Contribute to the development and review of procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

The Candidate
In order to be successful in this role you will have relevant experience, ability to hold Confined Space, Working at Heights, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus and Chemical Handling Certifications, current Drivers Licence C Class and preferably but not essential a Qualification in Water Industry Operations or similar.
