Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

In the journey to further professionalize Booking.com and our industry, we are building a dedicated Partner Process team to support this journey. The team is responsible for managing, governing and optimizing all regulatory processes and acts as a single point of contact for all process related matters across the organization.

The Process Deployment Manager will have 3 main responsibilities:

  • Manage and engage a team of (senior) process specialists
  • Deploy, define and deliver meaningful and impactful process improvements and innovation to enable a range of teams to work efficiently within a higher regulated and compliance landscape
  • Function as the bridge between different teams and departments to capture, size and prioritise process feedback and collaborate to finding suiting solutions for the prioritised items

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

People management

  • Build, sustain and engage your team members
  • Coach and mentor team members to grow their capabilities and career
  • Collaborate with the larger team to establish and drive team foundations to elevate the total team to a higher level
  • Work together with other craft leads in the organization to continuously align and improve the Operational Excellence craft
  • Optimize resource allocation towards key priorities within the team (e.g. process improvement, process (re-)design), ensuring process deployment is considered across all activities we do

Team delivery

  • Translate and deploy high level processes into detailed process guidelines in collaboration with various change/implementation teams
  • Support teams across the organization in knowing how to operationalize process and product changes
  • Capture feedback from operational teams and review, size and prioritize these in collaboration with your team and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure that operational feasibility is factored in into every process change we make
  • Proactively starts initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness through processes, automation and systems
  • Understand business needs and drive change accordingly, taking ownership of removing any blocks that slow down progress and innovation
  • Work with various stakeholders to define and execute a prioritized backlog of tasks and projects

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Very strong communication, networking and influencing skills, effectively communicate in front of small audiences and ability to influence in 1:1
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills, able to drive transformational project with large cross-functional; impact on the organization
  • Managerial and leadership experience: Able to lead and inspire medium size team, including senior specialists
  • Strong problem solving abilities, including strong familiarity with deal structuring, negotiation and contracting processes
  • Proactive in taking ownership
  • Stimulates team work, within and outside of own team
  • Commercially minded and result driven
