BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Process Development Lab Steward, Biologics. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Dartmouth, NS.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of GMP suites and laboratories, including equipment, walls, ceilings, and floors.
- Working in a controlled environment with adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Performing environmental monitoring of GMP cleanrooms.
- Performing support activities, including housekeeping, inventory organization, generic solution preparation, organizing workspaces and restocking of PPE and other materials.
- Assisting with instrument calibrations, maintaining equipment records, and performing basic preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Accurately record information in accordance with BIOVECTRA’s data integrity policy.
- Assisting in preparation of microbial cell banks and performing in-process testing to support cell bank production.
- Participating in BIOVECTRA’s quality management system, focusing on batch production records and related documentation, and always following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhering to BIOVECTRA’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Occasional shift work, after hours, or weekend work required.
- Use of a respirator is required.
