Description:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE OF THE PROCESS ENGINEER:

  • Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
  • Demonstratable experience in covering a variety of tasks.
  • Communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is favourable but, not required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROCESS ENGINEER:

  • Chemical engineering degree or equivalent / similar.
  • Chartered status or actively working toward Chartered Status is ideal but, not essential.

THE ROLE

As a Process Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Applying engineering domain knowledge competently to provide technical solutions in the delivery of products and services while developing domain knowledge, experience and leadership skills.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for resolving specific technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations, as well as, providing reviews and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:

  • Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.
  • Assist in effective management of the customer, through interfacing with customers and supply chain on design issues and assist with procurement specifications.
  • Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
  • Ensure task and project risks are communicated appropriately.
  • Contribute to Product Safety Assessment process.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Bristol on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met.
