PROCESS ENGINEER
Bouygues Energies & Services Contracting - Manchester
Bouygues Energies and Services are at the forefront of the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Environment and offer design, build and maintain solutions within these sectors.
We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join our technical department. The technical department work on projects to design and deliver Process solutions in critical environments e.g. cleanrooms, industrial plants and controlled high-tech manufacturing spaces. The Process Engineer will develop their skills during all stages of a project from design, construction, commissioning and validation.
This role is based in Didsbury, Manchester and will involve regular visits to sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support with the design, analysis and optimisation of chemical processes to improve efficiency and ensure safety.
- Prepare detailed engineering documents, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Be involved in client presentations and regular site visits.
- Conduct process simulations and calculations to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Monitor and analyse process performance, using data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new processes or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Be aware of health and safety requirements in all aspects of the role.
- Have a keen interest in Automation, Industrial Digitalisation and Sustainability.
