Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As our Process Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all process within the Wax, Shell and Foundry are controlled. You will need to be able to work closely with colleagues at every level of the business and also be the main point of contact for suppliers.
We are looking for team players who are not afraid to get their hands dirty, you will need to be comfortable getting onto the shop floor, checking raw materials while also being responsible for large CAPEX projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct structured reviews of process effectiveness.
- Create and maintain local PFMEA worksheets
- Research and development of new processes
- Preparation of technical projects with cost justifications to develop and introduce new processes
- Act as a point of contact for internal departments for process engineering issues
- Act as a lead in problem solving activities
- Liaise with part engineers to reduce scrap.
- Ensure customer technical process requirements are satisfied
- Lead improvement initiatives in manufacturing process
