Description:

Branson de Mexico is seeking a Process Engineer to join our organization. The Process Engineer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves continuous improvement of current processes, implementing new technologies, and providing technical support to ensure smooth production operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Experience in project management is an advantage but not required.
  • Availability to travel within the USA and Mexico.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
    Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Solid Edge.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  1. Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
  2. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure processes meet required specifications and standards.
  3. New Process Implementation: Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  4. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize production downtime.
  5. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment is functioning correctly and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  7. Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes and equipment.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, procedures, and work instructions.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
  10. Submit PRs (Problem Reports): Submit PRs in TeamCenter on discrepancies found in BOMs and Drawings.
  11. Cost Improvement Projects: Generate, analyze, develop, and implement cost improvement projects.
  12. Fixture Tooling Design: Create new fixtures tooling CAD (2D) and (3D) drawings as required.
  13. Safety: Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, quality control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven track record of process improvement initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
    Intermediate proficiency in English (ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English).
