Description:

Join Euroapi Italy team as a Process Engineer; you will make a key contribution in our Production Unit.
Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Collaborate with the Technical Services department in the realization of the investment projects of the Production
  • Define process information in the technical specifications of your department’s investment projects
  • Participate in the process of approval of a project (starting from the feasibility study) and the subsequent stages of implementation and qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Propose, on the basis of the priorities identified by the departments, possible improvement activities with the aim of reducing process costs, de-bottlenecking and/ or improvement of production in terms of yield and performance
  • Support the development of process engineering of new and established products
  • Work on analysis of production data in order to identify possible margins for optimising the reliability and efficiency of processes and plants
  • Collaborate with Departments and Quality in the investigation and in the drafting and implementation of CAPA
  • Collaborate in the identification of water and energy savings in view of ESG

The EUROAPI Italy facility is a vast production site with over 240 workers located in the industrial area of Brindisi with a history dating back to 1966. EUROAPI Italy is specialized in the development and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), including antibiotics, corticosteroids and other intermediates by large scale fermentation under GMP conditions. The Brindisi site is approved by the main health authorities and owns environment and workplace safety certifications.
Our Requirements
Master’s degree in chemical engineering
Knowledge of equipment and technologies commonly used in Fermentation (USP) and Purification (DSP) plants
Knowledge of GMP
Fundamentals of DCS
Knowledge and comprehension of P&Id and technical paperworks
Knowledge of safety standards
Previous experience in project management and process analysis of production processes
Management and analytical skills
Problem solving attitude
