Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager this role involves being in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
  • Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budget parameters.
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
  • Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
  • Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.
  • Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products.
  • May participate in control plan development.
  • Write and update work instructions and other documents ( specifications, procedures).
  • Analyzes and designs equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
  • Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.
  • Provides information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Knowledge in manufacturing/plastics industry.
  • Previous experience in automation and integration, such as PLC programming, robotic arm handling, FVTs (Functional Verification Tests) and EOL (End of Line) testing equipment.
  • Advanced English.
  • MS Office (Excel, PP).
  • BoM structuring
  • Systems integrity

  • Teamwork
  • CAD software knowledge.
  • ERP software knowledge.
  • Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus!
