TECHNICAL AND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

  • Provide technical information and support to maintain the or improve the operating facility.
  • Provide discipline leadership for all process engineering system changes through the MOC process.
  • Lead expense and small capital projects that are primarily process engineering focused.
  • Review and update installation drawings, datasheets, loop drawings, purchase specifications and guidance documents.
  • Ensure we are in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards for plant equipment and infrastructure.
  • Provide process engineering discipline expertise in support of major projects executed across the Distribution network, as required.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE:

To engage on all technical aspects of Process Engineering work such as development of process design criteria, preparation of engineering calculations, analyses , and studies, development of process simulations , PFD’s and H&MB’s, P&ID’s, LDT’s, equipment sizing and specifications, hydraulic analysis and report writing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To prepare process data sheets and input to the preparation of instrument and equipment datasheet and specifications;
  • To develop or assist in developing process operating philosophy, control narratives and maintenance manuals;
  • To participate in process hazard assessment sessions, such as: HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and Risk review;
  • To participate in project internal & external meetings, inter-discipline and vendor documentation review and approval;
  • Where requested, to act as Lead Process Engineer on small projects;
  • May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances;
  • To participate in the WorleyParsons Quality Improvement, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs;
  • To mentor and facilitate mentorship of junior engineers, CAD designer and drafters. Participate in and facilitate external and internal department training activities.
