Description:
The Process Engineer is responsible for your own assigned area within our gas valve manufacturing facility in Nagykanizsa. You will ensure ongoing production within your area, analysing issues and finding solutions quickly to maintain the required production volumes.
The successful candidate will join a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
You will add value and expertise to the business by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities, and solving problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Define manufacturing processes and approve changes to processes as and when required
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the production process related documentation
- Supports the creation of the Control Plans
- Responsible for maintaining the SAP production process related elements (BOM, Routing, Production Version)
- Maintain production equipment control systems
- Supports the root cause analysis/repair activity in case of serious machine break down, escalating issues to senior leadership when required
- Define and analyse the root cause of the non-conformities and prepare suggestions for correction
- Analyse and resolve customer complaints
- Approve product changes from manufacturing side
- Defines calibration process for assigned equipment
- Execute assigned calibration tasks according to the calibration time schedule
- Support TPM creation and execution
- Participate in production area related communication forums
- Prepare production related information, analysis and presentations as and when required
- Identify ways to reduce cost within the production area
- Support productivity, yamazumi and lean projects related to the production area
- Have inspection authority in point of production process adherence.
- Develop professional relationship with other departments and suppliers (R&D, Quality, Production, SDE, HSE, Maintenance, SIOP, Sourcing).Monitor the working environment and continuously make proposals for improvements, and participate in process improvement activities
