Description:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B. Eng (Chem) Degree

MINIMUM PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years experience in Oil & Gas Industry (Or equivalent)
  • Experience with process piloting or prototyping would be advantageous
  • Experience in wastewater treatment would be advantageous

OTHER SKILLS

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player
  • Familier with Mechanical design specifications (ASME, API, etc.)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bishopstown, CO. Cor

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptial Process Engineering – New process development.
  • Detailed Engineering Design (Pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, etc.)
  • PFD and P&ID development
  • Drafting of PFDs and P&IDs using Autodesk AutoCAD, Plant 3D
  • Experimental Design and Execution
  • Perform Laboratory Experimental Work (Including operating laboratory equipment and analytical work).
  • Critical review of available literature on development relating to SCFI’s key technologies with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Process and Chemistry inputs to journal publications.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineering relating to process equipment and material section for process equipment.
  • Lead HAZOP review studies internally and with external customers
  • Liase with external customers regarding executing project scope of work
  • Technical resource for securing new business (including customer site visits to identify the problem and come up with proposed solutions).
  • Internal and 3rd Party Manufacturing Project Management (Including preparation of equipment datasheets, equipment specification, project schedules, project activity list, project deliverable tracking, budgeting and stakeholder management).
  • Liaise with Customers on Technical Clarifications
  • Champion Technical and Commercial proposals for SCFI’s portfolio of technologies (Including mass balances, load list calculations, and compilation of required proposal documentation).
  • Champion the ISO9001 and ISO45001 accreditation status with annual internal auditing.
