Looking for an exciting new challenge? Yara are seeking applications for their permanent role of Process Engineer, Sustainability.
Reporting to the Environment & Sustainability Department’s Senior Process Engineer, the Process Engineer, Sustainability is responsible for using process engineering techniques and knowledge to achieve the company’s safety, quality and compliance goals and objectives.

The primary responsibilities include:

• Understanding of Yara’s goal for decarbonization and nature positivity and following the pathway, including initiation of and active participation in the implementation of greenhouse gas (GHG) and non-GHG projects.
• Process studies for 0.5%, 10% and 20% renewable hydrogen project.
• Commissioning support for 0.5% renewable hydrogen plant.
• Process support for CCUS studies, engineering and other projects, as required.
• ISO-50001 Energy Management system monitoring and reporting.
• Working with a dynamic team of individuals to ensure compliance with various government and corporate reporting initiatives.
• Process support and collaboration with all departments.
• Participating in plant testing and commissioning activities where process engineering experience is requested.
• Participation in Risk Assessment and PHA studies, participate as Subject Matter Expert [SG1]
• Contribute to Yara globally for engineering knowledge sharing and review of technical and operating standards (TOPS)
• Proven experience in equipment sizing.
• Actively participate in compliance and management system audits as required.
• Conduct design reviews as required and participate in workshops.
• Ability to carryout Aspen Plus / HYSYS simulations.
• Develop P&IDs, and update PFD as required
• Risk assessment authority for MoC
• Conduct and participates in Root Cause Analysis, incident HAZOPs and reviews
