Description:
OVERVIEW
Due to a retirement in our Process Development Team, we have a new opportunity for a Wet Etch expert to join the expanding team at Pragmatic Semiconductor! Reporting to the Principal Engineer (Photolithography/Wet Etch) this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be the technical authority in Wet Etch, advising on a range of topics to develop our processes and also ensuring world-leading sustainability within semiconductor manufacturing.
In this role, you will primarily focus on the development of wet semiconductor processes for Substrate Cleaning / Photoresist Strip / Metal Etching / Oxide Etching - so experience in these areas is highly beneficial. However, previous experience of Electroplating methods would also be an advantage, so that strategic support can be provided towards the future development of improved Redistribution Layers (RDL).
You will have a key role in transferring semiconductor processes from early-stage development to high volume production at our current 200mm and 300mm facilities. This will involve close co-operation with both our research and manufacturing teams to ensure that next generation processes have a smooth transition from development toolsets to high-volume manufacturing.
We are offering a highly competitive benefits package for this position, including Visa/Relocation support to the North East of England, where our new, state of the art fab is based.
