JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Process Engineering department acts as a service organization to production with main focus on Continious Improvement (CI) and supporting of excisting production processes. The department is also involved in early phases of launch projects and research activities; providing feedback on initial product drawings and sample generation for further investigations. The Process Engineering Manager (PEM) is responsible for planning and follow up activities in the department.
The PEM is responsible to ensure Process Engineering support for all implemented manufacturing processes for standard production, and also development of excisting manufacturing.
The PEM plan, coordinate and follow up project tasks.
Work as a project member, global and local, and represent production for new processes. Drive problem solving in small and big scale in all areas of production in Karlskoga.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS:

The PEM is accoutable and Responsible for performance and sustainment of Continious Improvement (CI) Culture: such as Daily Management, PSP, Kaizen Funnel Mgt, VPM, EMS, Bowler
The PEM is responsible for continuous Improve excisting manufacturing processes for standard production , including development of drawings for manufacturing equipment and specifying equipment requirements.
Develop the production regarding flow, equipment, cost, efficiency and safety. Participate in project meetings and follow project plans. Close cooperation and alignment with Group Managers and other functions involved in regular production.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years qualified experience of relevant area and of leading production function.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Proven and documented industrial engineering skills.
  • Proven understanding of qualification and validation procedures.
  • Proven skills in leadership.
  • Experience from production engineering in regulated industry, such as medical, lean production, lean competence and global working environment.

CRITICAL SKILLS:

  • Strictly analytic problem solving abilities connected to the practical use of statistic tools.
  • Deep understanding of product specification tools: Bills of material, routings, drawings, tolerances, etc.
  • Strictly analytic problem solving abilities connected to practice of LEAN and SixSigma approaches.
  • Very good knowledge in MS Office and preferably in SAP.
  • Experince from Lean and Six Sigma approaches.
  • Manage different analytical and statistics tools.
