Description:
As a Process Governance Consultant, you’ll be supporting the Governance & Controls Manager within CB&E, specifically working towards improving our Process Ownership Maturity across the function.
This means you will work collaboratively in and outside the team with a number of other teams and different stakeholders.
You will support the management of CB&E Master Process List, overlaying the risk and controls profile to identify gaps and develop improvement plans.
Key responsibilities include process metrics enhancement, gathering of risk & controls insights, assessing process improvement opportunities.
You will work very closely with teams across CB&E to support embedding and deployment of improvement actions.
This role is within the Customer Brand and Engagement Function, which is responsible for building and maintaining Nationwide’s brand, marketing activities, all things communications and reputation both internally and externally.
This is a new role within the Governance, Risk & Controls Team, who supports the function achieving their objectives, working within risk appetite.

ABOUT YOU
As a minimum you will have:
- Governance and/or controls experience.
- Experience with process mapping/process improvements
- Experience working with Power Bi and or Data manipulation
- Be an independent, self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
- Be an excellent communicator (both verbally and written), who is comfortable to effectively manage, engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Comfortable speaking to all levels and leading meetings/presenting to all type of audiences.
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management Framework

You will support the management of CB&E Master Process List, working closely with the Risk Partners and business areas to appropriately overlaying the risk and controls profiles to each Master Process, identifying gaps and opportunity for improvements.
You will also focus on process metrics enhancement, working towards a solution for end-to-end process oversight across CB&E.
