Description:

BAM Group has implemented the Tender Stage Gate Process and System to minimize project risks and potential future losses during the tender phase. This process supports divisions and the Executive Board in managing selective, competitive tenders and data-driven portfolios. The Tender Assurance team maintains and improves these processes, systems, and policies to ensure reliable tendering and governance. We achieve this by leading expert groups and Tender Desks.

For this position, we are looking for a person who can develop an inspiring vision and has a strong drive to further develop the Tender Assurance role. You can set clear goals and are constantly looking for opportunities. You are transparent and always keep an eye at the impact for the organization.

  • You have a completed university (BSC/Master) degree;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of tendering, business or project management processes;
  • You have experience with the development and implementation of (tender) processes and related business controls;
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbal;
  • You have elementary Power BI skills and/or are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

As Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordination and supporting the creation and implementation of BAM Practices with the expert groups. You will continuously help the different expert groups and guide and assist them in their role by providing the communication channels, templates and uniform way of working as well as monitoring progress. You will maintain our tendering processes and templates, support our team members and play an active role in dashboarding and reporting to sr. leadership.

  • Identify, plan, and implement necessary process updates;
  • Assemble and engage expert groups in relevant disciplines;
  • Support expert groups in (re)writing BAM Practices when needed;
  • Maintain and improve BAM Connect Tender support pages for tender teams;
  • Oversee all Tender Assurance processes and manage their interdependencies;
  • Collaborate on CRM improvements, KPI development, and quality monitoring.
