Assemble and package the components of saleable and promotional products meeting both quality and quantity standards. In addition move components, mass, and/or WIP (work in progress) from the PSA (production supply area) to the resource supporting a continual flow of material to execute appropriate process orders as required.

  • Complies with all prescribed safety and good housekeeping procedures
  • Actively supports Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Verify accuracy of components and mass against process order
  • Supply components and mass to the resource which includes the loading of hoppers that are integrated with automatic feeding equipment
  • Perform the assembly and packing of components and WIP as outlined in assembly instructions or specified by a Supervisor
  • Bend, lean, and reach to move full shippers of components from pallets, and continually supply them to assembly stations located on the resource throughout the execution of the process order
  • Participate in Line Clearance
  • Through the execution of a process order remove empty cartons and excess packing material to maintain a clean and safe work area around the resource
  • Ensure products meet all quality standards
  • Maintain productivity expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must exhibit manual dexterity and pull pallets as required. Must be able to work all shifts and all ELC locations and overtime as needed.
