JOB POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: University bachelor degree Mechanical Engineering

Professional background

  • 3-5 years of experience in the role.
  • Tier1 automotive supplier experience preferred.

HARD SKILLS

Essential:

  • efficient in mechanical design, specification reading, capability studies, SPC.
  • Proficient in automotive core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, CP).
  • Good knowledge of standard measuring devices.
  • Good knowledge of IATF16949 and Customer Specific requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive manufacturing, assembly and testing processes
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of statistical analysis programs (QStat, Minitab)
  • Fluent English (both spoken and written).

Considered as a plus:

  • IATF 16949:2016 Auditor Certification
  • VDA 6.3:2023 Auditor Certification

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a Process Quality Engineer in Luserna San Giovanni (TO) Location
Process Quality Engineer shall ensure the overall quality of manufactured products.
Responsible for quality audits, he monitors quality standards, leads internal scrap analysis, collects and analyze process data during root cause analysis process.
The PQE will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to perform his activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct process and LPA audits to verify process compliance to quality requirements.
  • Audit that the controls performed are in line with the control plan requirements: content, method, frequency, results & reaction to non-conformities.
  • Lead internal scrap analysis activities to support operations in maintaining production quality performances
  • Collect production data and develop statistics to verify process and product stability.
  • Support the team during customer, process and supplier complaints root cause analysis process.
  • Conduct process and product trials to determine failure responsibility attribution
  • Support the industrialization team during line controls definition.
  • Participate to production line daily meeting
