Responsibilities:

The work of the Process Safety Manager will focus on the establishment and improvement of all the elements relevant for a proper process safety management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or participate in the process safety studies, like HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA
  • Lead the (root cause) investigation of process safety incidents and drive their follow-up
  • Implementation and improvement of leading and lagging performance indicators
  • Organize, provide and give QHSE oriented trainings to all relevant staff members
  • Support the Safety Culture Team
  • Deliver communications regarding hazardous work and/or work spots
  • Support all sites with respect to issues coming from permits, inspections, or design
  • Plan/perform daily observations and internal audits within the organization.

The Process Safety Manager reports to the QHSE director and serves the Amsterdam offices and laboratories at Zekeringstraat and Science Park (UVA Campus) as well as the Pilot plant in Geleen (Brightlands-Chemelot) and the Flagship plant in Delfzijl (Chemiepark Delfzijl). You will be based mainly at our Amsterdam office.
