YOUR JOB

As our Process Specialist you become a part of one or more optimization projects, participating, leading and driving the focus on processes and ensuring streamlining of flow of goods, efficiency and excellence in our logistics processes. Depending on your experience, some of the projects that could land on your desk include:

  • Participating in the development and designing of our new ERP system, BestOne, and future utilization of our Transport Management System (TMS), especially focused on BESTSELLER’s flow processes, where you would be part of deciding which new features and functionalities deliver most value for end users.
  • The new Logistics Distribution Centre, which we will soon start the construction of in the Netherlands, where processes and systems need to be designed, developed and implemented, before the new distribution centre is operational.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Acting as subject matter expert in relation to the development of new initiatives with a strong business focus, challenging the status quo in a proactive and professional manner to improve current processes to fit the future requirements.
  • Connecting the main flow across Logistics and understanding how flows interact and how to optimize in relation to customers service, cost effectiveness and/or general business value.
  • Staying curious and always looking for ways to our current processes across Logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational background within Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
  • Experience with process optimization within a logistics or supply chain setup is an advantage
  • Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) is considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
