Responsibilities:

  • Perform works as a process/solution development personnel and contributes to the technical answers to RFP (Request for Proposal) and/or Feasibility / Pre-Feed study. It includes:
  • Understand the needs of customers
  • Participate in developing process design basis for proposals/feasibility study/pre-Feed
  • Simulate different technical solutions, compare the different options and design the most competitive, comprehensive and optimized solution for CO2 capture or opportunistically on other gas production plants
  • Perform process calculation (e.g. process simulation, line sizing) using in-house or commercial tools
  • Generate and deliver process deliverables (e.g. material and utility balance, equipment sizing, process description, process flow diagram PFD, block flow diagram BFD, process datasheets, etc…)
  • Participate to technical discussions with clients and/or vendors
  • Provide technical data on the products (sizing of equipments, material selection,…) to support the cost estimation
  • Contribute to vendor information evaluation for main equipment
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve the competitiveness of the Cryocap™ product
  • Support development of the freedom to operate (FTO) for the process solution and study patents as required
  • Support Cryocap™ product improvement activities
  • Work as a team member either with local and/or with international team members
  • Attend and contribute to any review meetings (internal/external) and complete action items
  • Contribute to in-house process database, CO2 marketing and/or training package
  • Understand and implement capitalization and improvement ideas from previous projects / commissioning /operations issues
  • Participate in improving the engineering practices, guidelines and/or procedures when applicable
  • Meet or exceed the company’s safety standards
  • Comply with E&C Global and Local engineering standards and other industry standards
  • Learn required AL technologies as needed on assignment
