About The Opportunity
Maintain and improve all plastic processes, including troubleshooting molds, automation, plastic variables and maximizing efficiency of all operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safely and effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.
2. Set up molding machine and ancillary equipment, as related to the molding process.
3. Deploy process technology to minimize process variation and optimize the manufacturing of our products.
4. Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization.
5. Perform mold start-ups using plastic fundamentals (applicable locations only).
6. Maintain process guidelines though cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc.
7. Install, troubleshoot, and remove EOAT.
8. Pull and understand FPI/SA paperwork and process variances.
9. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
10. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities. 11. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification
Level Required: High school diploma or equivalent & Forklift Certification
Level Desired: Vocational or Technical Degree Forklift Certification
Work Experience
Required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Desired
- 2-5 years of plastic molding experience
- Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting
- Electrical troubleshooting
