SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience within the dairy industry or food manufacturing as well as experience working with an ERP system (SAP) would be seen as advantageous however we will provide training to upskill you.

• Mechanical aptitude to form a basic understanding of our equipment
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Self-motivated and proactive
• There will be some lifting required of up to 25 Kg
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of processes
• Forklift operation is a critical part of the role so previous experience required

We are looking to expand our team of Process Operators to join our team on a 7 month fixed term contract. This is a short term role where you will have the opportunity to expand your experience in our Dryer assisting with our lactose operations. You will be running state of the art plant and equipment, making highly complex advanced nutrition servicing multiple locations across the globe.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

• Operating sophisticated, automated equipment in a dairy manufacturing process
• Performing product quality checks to reduce loses and improve line reliability
• Maintaining exceptional manufacturing safety and quality standards
• Playing your part in a high performing team

Working in a great team environment, you will be focused and competent, with a proven history for reliability and eagerness to learn. This is very much a hands-on role so if you are someone that is motivated to develop, has high attention to detail and would take pride in seeing products you make being consumed around the globe then we want to hear from you!
This role offers a great work life balance, working on a 4 on 4 off rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off. The starting hourly rate for this role is $28.54 and you will have the opportunity to increase this once competent and sign off has been completed.
