Processing Analyst On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, Procom is looking for a Processing Analyst Processing Analyst – Job Description

  • This role is to recalculate member pensions after the data has been reviewed/confirmed by the Employer Experience team (the recently hired pension data analyst roles)
  • Most of the recalculations are system generated; however, a percentage, due to its complexity, will require a review to determine the reason why it cannot go through the batch and then, with the use of procedures/training notes, a manual recalculation needs to be completed
  • All manual calculations will be audited by our QA department to ensure accuracy
  • A high approval rate is expected
  • Successful applicants will receive training after which there will be staff support

Processing Analyst – Mandatory Skills

  • Using strong quantitative, mathematical, and critical thinking skills, calculate and process a variety of pension products
  • Ability to evaluate information, to check for conformity with present standards and to authorize and execute a solution within those limits
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures and to work on tasks independently
  • Identify and implement improvements and share best practices with team members
  • Set priorities and work to established timelines
  • Operate in a fast-paced team environment
  • Detailed oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Good communication skills – must be clear and have no trouble understanding
