Description:
Processing Analyst On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, Procom is looking for a Processing Analyst Processing Analyst – Job Description
- This role is to recalculate member pensions after the data has been reviewed/confirmed by the Employer Experience team (the recently hired pension data analyst roles)
- Most of the recalculations are system generated; however, a percentage, due to its complexity, will require a review to determine the reason why it cannot go through the batch and then, with the use of procedures/training notes, a manual recalculation needs to be completed
- All manual calculations will be audited by our QA department to ensure accuracy
- A high approval rate is expected
- Successful applicants will receive training after which there will be staff support
Processing Analyst – Mandatory Skills
- Using strong quantitative, mathematical, and critical thinking skills, calculate and process a variety of pension products
- Ability to evaluate information, to check for conformity with present standards and to authorize and execute a solution within those limits
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures and to work on tasks independently
- Identify and implement improvements and share best practices with team members
- Set priorities and work to established timelines
- Operate in a fast-paced team environment
- Detailed oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Good communication skills – must be clear and have no trouble understanding
