Description:
Responsible for coordinating and facilitating processing of all company purchases and invoices received for payment and for further undertaking communications and responses to inquiries, internal and external, in an efficient and timely manner.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts and principles and ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks or similar programs
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint),
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Keen desire to learn about the operations of the company
- Uphold confidentiality, ethics, and demonstrate a high level of discretion at all times
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
Qualifications
- Diploma certification in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Experience with ERP systems desirable
- Experience with Procurement and / or Bookkeeping at least 1 year

Responsibilities:
- Support material and resource planning to fulfill customer orders timely
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Coordinate with Operations and track planned purchases
- Work with procurement team to generate and communicate POs to vendors
- Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, confirming approvals and providing coding as needed to Accounts Payable
- Follow up with Customers as needed to confirm deliveries and payments
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor and/or customer accounts and statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payable and accounts receivable status as needed
