SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

  • Experience in procurement preferred, however this is an entry level role and full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Procurement Administrator is responsible for buying in medicines and products required for Target Healthcare Limited. They will be responsible for managing stock levels, sourcing new products for enquiries and ensuring that outstanding orders are monitored and delivered in a timely manner. The role will include maintaining and building relationships with suppliers and ensuring that we are sourcing the best quality products and the most competitive prices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain your training record and ensure training for your job role is complete as identified on the training matrix
  • Sourcing of pharmaceuticals and lab consumables for our non-sterile manufacturing labs and warehouse
  • Adding new products to our database in keeping with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update stock reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines for unlicensed medicines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of products and service
  • Working well as part of a busy team and building relationships with suppliers
  • End to end ownership of supply cycle, from placing PO to chasing discrepancies
  • Ensure that outstanding orders are delivered in a timely manner. Follow up on these daily.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices
