The Opportunity
Due to organisational growth, CPP are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Advisor in this brand new role as our procurement function expands.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will provide exceptional support, governance, and expertise in procurement. As a senior member of the team, your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end category initiatives, leading Master Subcontract arrangements with key vendors, and where required, standardising procurement templates and Internal Procurement Guidelines.
As the senior specialist, the Procurement Advisor will assist the Procurement Coordinators with vendor registration prequalifications, provide procurement advice during Bid Handover Meetings, and lead strategic procurement workshops.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About You
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in managing key stakeholder and vendor relationships.
Tertiary qualifications in Business or Procurement training (CIPSA qualifications preferred).
Experience in the utilities or renewable energy industry is highly desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
