Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sourcing and procurement of diversified commodities and/or services on a competitive basis and to provide daily, tactical management of suppliers, ensuring on-time deliveries of quality products and/or services.
- Accountable to National Procurement for all purchasing activities. The Agent communicates effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders and holds suppliers accountable to meet or exceed CRC’s expectations, terms, and conditions.
- Collects, analyzes, and compiles data for sourcing, compliance, and updates purchasing data in CRC’s ERP system.
- Update vendor data in the system if applicable. Although the Agent will be assigned to provide support within a specific Department and Program structure, this is a Procurement Hub Team function and the Agent may be assigned to provide support to other Departments and Programs, depending on workload requirements.
- The Agent will be the face to the vendor and main resource for guidance on procurement processes and procurement needs of assigned Programs.
- Depending on surge support and response, other programs may be supported also for full coverage of procurement needs, and Agent may be required to be on call.
- The incumbent will also provide strategic sourcing support on low complexity requirements.
- The Agent is also involved in Third Party Risk Management and Vendor Monitoring as part of the Vendor Governance program.
- The position also supports and facilitates the negotiations and issuance of vendor agreements.
