1. FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Engineering / Management Information Systems / Data Science / or related field.
  • Preferred Business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization experience with tools such as SAP BW, PowerBI or Tableau.

2. SPECIFIC SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Basic Project management skills
  • Knowledge of current and emerging data analysis technologies, trends, and strategic application to business needs.
  • Advanced skill on Excel: Power M, pivot tables, VBA & Macros, statistical modelling, forecasting and prediction, etc
  • Basic skills on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities, planning, time management and project management skills.
  • Customer centric and positive attitude to drive and influence change.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Awareness of with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
  • Strong bias for action and results orientation with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to measure and report progress on projects or business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and address challenges, anticipate opportunities, and take initiative to achieve goals and enhance efficiency.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting Amcor’s Procurement function in the areas of advanced analytics and digital transformation. The primary focus is to enable better decision making by providing timely and high-quality data analytics and insights to procurement leaders. This includes development of predictive models and visualizations as well as leveraging cognitive analytical techniques to identify connections, uncover insights, and make recommendations to improve business performance against critical KPI’s for Procurement and associated business functions such as OHSE, Manufacturing, and Finance, etc.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • The Procurement Analyst is responsible for planning and leading advanced analytics, data visualization, and data infrastructure development to enhance procurement decision-making.
  • Manage provisioning of high-quality data to support procurement leaders in decision-making, integrating key performance metrics, and leverage analytics to improve procurement KPIs performance.
  • Utilize digital tools to identify unique data relationships, make recommendations for source-to-pay process improvements, and efficiently deliver regular reports and visualizations to internal stakeholders.
  • Continually evolve subject matter expertise in procurement software suites and tools.
  • Help develop existing technologies and implement new technologies (eRFX, contract management, should cost analysis, scorecards, etc).
  • Deliver continuous increase transaction count and spend volume through system enhancements, supplier enablement, catalog development, and usability improvement.
  • Develop enablement strategies through spend analysis and execute supplier enablement, execute supplier communication plans and create and deliver end user training for procurement tools and systems
  • Ensure that administered systems meet audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely assistance and support to end-users with procurement systems when needed, ensuring a seamless procurement experience for all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain analytics solutions which will provide users with access to predictive and prescriptive analytics and insights.
  • Develops data presentation tools including charts, graphs, and other visuals for internal and external reporting.
  • Develop SOPs, documentation, and training for any new reports and visualizations.
  • Support deployment of future procurement systems and solutions.
  • Work cross functionally to support projects to deliver overall business goals.
  • Partner with IT teams to drive system changes and improvements which enhance Amcor’s ability to convert data into useful information.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by Indirect Procurement Project Manager
