Description:
FlexStaff is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Temp Procurement Analyst to work for our client, an electrical facility in Queens. This role involves evaluating procurement data, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and supporting procurement strategies.
This is a full-time temp opportunity, lasting 6-9 months.
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.
Salary $45-$60 an hour, depending on experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or data analysis.
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Manage logistics and coordinate the timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.

- Perform root cause analysis on supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve materials management and quality control processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop strategies for effective supplier management.
