Description:

RRC is seeking a talented Procurement and Administrative Coordinator to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Richmond Hill, ON office. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant & Admin to join our dynamic engineering team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement activities and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, preferably within the renewable energy sectors.
  • Experience with IT and networking equipment procurement is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update supplier records and databases.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet demand.
  • Support the procurement manager in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements and accommodation for team members.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage the office environment.
  • Support other departments as needed.
