Description:

To take the lead on specific/allocated areas of category spend, undertaking sourcing and procuring exercises which meet stakeholder requirements by demonstrating value for money and promoting an integrated approach in meeting deliverables. This involves working closely with other stakeholders to support the requirements of the Trust and relevant third party organisations. Using detailed analysis, provide continuous opportunities to make efficiencies and cost reductions for the Trust and where appropriate, across multiple organisations. To support the Head of Procurement with the management and development of the procurement team.
Provide input to the development and reporting of an agreed work plan to include a resource plan and the realisation of annual savings and compliance with all relevant procurement legislation. Identifying areas for future opportunities and bringing added value to the benefit of the department and the Trust
